Welcome to Lucid Private Offices! We are an executive business suites company that caters to your specific office, meeting, and business needs. We provide our members with private office spaces, conference rooms, co-working options, and virtual offices. We currently operate 27 different locations throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Atlanta, and Phoenix Metroplexes and we are adding properties every year. With the growth that we are experiencing, we need supporting staff. In Dallas, we have 16 properties and are hiring a full-time Facilities Assistant to help keep these sites operating at their full potential.
Position Overview:
As the Facilities Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our visual standards and operational efficiency across our Dallas-Fort Worth locations. This is a full-time, non-exempt position working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. This position offers a competitive salary range of $35,000 - $40,000 annually, commensurate with experience. A comprehensive background check will be conducted prior to employment.
Key responsibilities and Daily Activities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs:
- Complete a variety of basic maintenance work orders, including entry-level electrical, plumbing, and small appliance repairs.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on standard appliances and common area finishes.
- Assemble and arrange common area and client furniture.
- Maintain visual standards and cleanliness:
- Execute porter duties, including cleaning kitchen appliances, glass surfaces, décor, and other common areas to uphold high visual standards.
- Ensure all facilities are clean, organized, and presentable for clients and staff.
- Logistics and Inventory Management:
- Assist with inventory management of maintenance supplies and tools.
- Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs or services as needed.
- Adherence to policies and safety:
- Responsible for understanding and following all Lucid Private Offices' policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Travel and Transportation:
- Travel to various locations throughout the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex as required to fulfill job duties.

Required Skills:
- Education: A High School diploma or GED
- Experience: One to three years of related experience in facilities maintenance, general labor, or a similar role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move various items up to 50 lbs.
- Attributes: Detail-focused, highly communicative, professional demeanor, proactive problem-solver, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Transportation: Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
